Precious Metal Clay (also known as PMC, Silver Clay or Artclay) is an innovative product which enables you to make real silver jewellery without the need for expensive specialist equipment.
Silver Clay consists of fine particles of silver suspended in an organic binder, which has the consistency and properties of traditional clay.
It can be rolled, stamped, textured, folded and moulded to create a wide array of shapes and designs. Once dry the clay is fired under intense heat, the binder burns away, leaving you with a perfect piece of jewellery in solid 99.9% pure fine silver. During this course you will learn how to roll the clay evenly, texture either one or both sides and cut out a shape to make a simple charm.
The course includes the use of all tools on the day, 5g of silver clay and sterling silver findings.
4 hour course with lunch included in the price. Learn the essential skills needed to make a professionally finished celebration cake.
You’ll learn how to level, split, fill, crumbcoat and cover your cake to a professional finish. How to ice, crimp and ribbon, how to make a starburst and how to model a cute teddy bear topper, to decorate and finish your celebration cake.
Please note: All equipment, boards, box, tools, fillings, fondant and 6″ round cake will be provided – just bring yourselves and an apron!
